#OpenBSD is great for web development. It's fast, consistent, reliable, well documented. Works great on hardware with limited resources.

- desktop (200 packages) 5GB
memory usage:
- server 200-400MB
- desktop 2-4GB

It's been running for a while so I've open and closed a bunch of tabs, including a stack of tabs from the /r/unixporn subreddit and associated imgur pages. At the time of screen shot I had Fastmail, Arch Wiki, Openbox wiki, /r/unixporn, and Twitter open.

2Gb of RAM total, 800Mb in use. The 800Mb in buffers/cache is mostly available for processes if they need it.
