    I'm grateful for the people who are willing to give Lyft drivers less than 5-star ratings. Even when they're bad drivers, I can't bring myself to ding their rating. But if everyone was like me, the system couldn't select for better drivers. Benefits of preference diversity!

    My wife is watching Boy Meets World reruns and I'm basically furious at what 1993 was trying to teach us. The central plot point was that this math problem wasn't solvable! The lesson was that when you're an adult, sometimes there are no answers.

    30m interview slots are The Worst and should die. It takes me 6m to get a good read on a single question because the signal is always in the followup questions/clarification. Add in chitchat and candidate questions. 30m is time for 3 solid questions :/
