"Dr. Jekyll and Sister Hyde" is still one of the better adaptations of Stephenson's novella. The casting was immaculate!

Of the 104 pages of the first volume of Den, Corben actually painted 8 in full color (here is a sample)! The rest were done in black and white and then colored when they went to the printer. All the original pages were scanned for the new edition, and the details are amazing!

Still can't go into details, but I just scorched past the 100-page mark of my upcoming creator-owned book. And you know how detailed my pages are... that's like 400 for an ordinary artist! Still a long way to go, though. Hang in there! Meantime: here's a private commission I did:

When is Michael Stuhlbarg gonna get a Batman villain role? I always wanted him for The Riddler, but he'd be just at home with a Hugo Strange, Mad Hatter, Calculator or Clayface.

Burt Reynolds directed a few movies before "Sharky's Machine" in 1981, but I think he was attempting to do something a little more unrestrained and improvisational with the scenes than his usual experience. (@MattRSays)

Good film this. I think it was Burt trying to dig his way out of the "Lightweight comedy" rut he'd gotten into... and he's really great in it. I wish he'd have continued along this course.

I'd love to have worked on film productions that would have accepted costume designs drawn like this.

The thought of PJ Harvey and Nick Cave in a carnal relationship brings to mind Sir Thomas Beecham's description of the sound produced by a harpsichord: “two skeletons copulating on a tin roof in a thunderstorm. ”
