    Enormous congratulations to our West Midlands Combined Authority Mayoral candidate . Solidly in third place in the first round with 35,559 votes, to the Lib Dems 21,836 votes. Thats 5.8% of the vote share. 💚👏💚👏

    Shocking. What started with unjustified violence against gatherings at a holy site in Ramadan is now large scale destruction. The govt in Israel bears responsibility for this deadly escalation and must lead on ending it. Our govt must also take action, particularly on arms sales.

    Even assuming, as the Israeli government claims, that a 13-storey residential tower in Gaza housed "an office that is used by the political leadership" of Hamas, how is it proportionate for an Israeli air strike to destroy the entire building?

    Ed Cohen, Wychavon district councillor for Evesham South, gained a victory for hedgehogs recently at a planning committee. He proposed a condition, which was agreed, that hedgehog gateways are built into all the fences of 59 new houses in Droitwich. Another Green Party success!

    V glad animals to be recognised as sentient beings in law. I first called for this when Govt claiming it wasn't necessary But legal protection should be extended to factory-farmed animals & animal welfare in trade deals must be written into law
