    Due to scheduling constraints, we unfortunately have to reschedule our virtual public night that was planned for this Saturday. Instead, our next virtual public night will now take place on Saturday July 24, 8:30pm--10:30pm. More details to follow soon!

    Today we are excited to share another amazing announcement about one of our fantastic faculty members Dr. Els Peeters. Learn more about her here:

    An international team, including Els Peeters from Western University’s Institute for Earth and Space Exploration, will use NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope (scheduled to launch in October 2021) to study a portion of the radiated cloud called the Orion Bar to learn more about the influence massive stars have on their environments, and even on the formation of our own solar system.
