What's something you wish you'd known about developing for Unix (&c.) when you were new to it? Bonus points for Python perspective Brainstorming a talk to the local user group that tries to map out a "survival guide" for the platform, trying to figure out the target scope

memory management is definitely one of the things I've had in mind, especially using `resource.setrlimit()` and friends and also communicating the general idea of virtual memory and that the OS is doing Stuff™ for you to make that all happen
