OH on industry call: "It's gonna be some time before we use digital controls...We don't move fast in nuclear." [with general agreement on call of ~20] [yes, all operating nuclear plants use analog controls afaik] Just a snippet to understand where the industry is, here in 2022.

To be clear though, "analog" doesn't necessarily mean no digital controllers are involved I think. The line is very blurry once you take into account the use of integrated circuits (TTL)
