I don't understand why people do this. I love reading replies even if they're terrible.
A lot of people get straight-up abuse in their replies so I am definitely in favor of the feature but it definitely provides a way to avoid facing criticism if one so desires...

yeah totally, I don’t think it’s a bad feature just one that should be used judiciously
