I have happened upon a mildly complicated scheme to get both callphone calling/text service (albeit not unlimited: 30c/minute call, 15c/text) *and* unlimited data for something on the order of less than $20/month.

like Videotron or something? no. The answer is to have a dual-SIM phone, use one slot for 7-11's PAYG, and the other a Lucky Mobile data-only.
