The fact that Slack doesn't hire remote developers will never fail to amuse me. There's "not eating your own dog food" and then there's "This dog food is SHIT give it to our customers."

Zulip is also pretty sweet too. Easy to catch up on stuff you missed without wasting time. I.e. the opposite of slack.
