Keep in mind that someone using this would already know what Wget is and have an idea of how it works. It's a tool for power users.

Yes. In short: it’s a goddamn mess. You have to read everything just to figure out where any of the options are.
It’s not organized in any kind of reasonable way, it’s visually dense for no good reason, and probably a hundred other big and small things.

Rarely used options should be hidden behind "hints" (menu items, tabs etc) for when they're needed. UI should lead (or prompt) user through "typical" workflow rather than user having to search all options to see what must be set & what can usually be ignored.

That is done in the above UI though, see the configure proxy "hint" 😎
Is anyone in this thread a wget user? None of the options presented in the screenshot are "rarely used", so by this definition the UI is perfect.

My only complaint is the naming is a bit off, but that seems to be because the author is not a native English speaker, which I can't really fault them for.
