Oculus finally pulled the plug on Perforce for internal development, so now I have no choice but to use Mercurial. Learning new source control or build systems are among my least favorite software development tasks.

Git is rarely used in large game development. Not sure about oculus, but for normal games, Git’s distributed truth is a non-starter. Two people can easily work on/edit the same level file, model, etc. additionally, gits binary handling is very subpar, and near okay with LFS
