I had a psychology professor who was known for his really polished and engaging lectures. He gave us a really great explanation of why he considered himself an introvert even though he was really great at public speaking. They're two completely different things!

Totally! I’m the least shy person in the world and I also enjoy public speaking and have been a teacher for 12 years. It’s completely unrelated. There’s a great book about this called Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking by Susan Cain.
