I can't stand Joe Rogan. I have also spent more time in combat sports gyms over the last decade than most any of you who are reading this and I can say- He is insanely influential amongst people who need to be pulled back from right-wing politics Right Now.
I think that Joe Rogan has been a gigantic negative on people- especially men- in my peer group. However- the mainstream Democrats that everyone accepts on TV all the time have views that are just as despicable and we allow them to have careers peddling war and austerity.
Here is one thing I can tell you about a lot of the guys who listen to Rogan- They aren't right-wingers- they are alienated from politics. They are very much looking for people to explain their situation and the Left has not yet cultivated a means by which to do that broadly.
I'm gonna let you finish- Rogan's audience is a lot more diverse in terms of race and sexuality then you would think. I know openly bi men who listen to his show and plenty of Latinx and African-Americans who do so to. They aren't Trump people, they just think politics are dumb.

He’s literally never voted right in his life?? Just bc he has guests that are far right and far left doesn’t mean he’s promoting one or the other. Hes making conversations happen w people that he doesn’t align himself w politically. That’s a good thing.
Quick question- Since I am getting some responses like this, are people reading what I wrote and thinking that the point is that I think Joe Rogan himself is 'right-wing'? Because that is clearly not what I am saying.
Well, if that's the case, then it looks like Joe Rogan is doing that job right now by suggesting they vote for Bernie Sanders.

I consider my opinion pretty politically neutral when it comes to American politics and I can tell you that Joe Rogan is one of the best when it comes to neutrality and common sense. He has an extremely diverse set of guests on his show and that's what makes it great.
I don't have a problem with him having diverse guests, the thing is he never challenges anyone on anything. They all say "well you know people say that the government is cloning alien species harvested from the North Pole" and he says "wow that's crazy"
