This is one of those things that looks really handy, but I'm gonna have to force myself to use because I'm so set in my ways.
Accessing elements in an array was one of the first things I learned.

I wonder if there could be an eslint rule to enforce it. I think the syntax is really nice, let alone the negative anchoring

I also like that you can use it with optional chaining.
Caveat: Safari's only supported it since March, so if your users aren't frequent updaters, you may have to wait a while before you can add it to your codebase.
