Lately I’ve noticed some Democratic politicians defending the current healthcare system by saying it preserves “choice” for Americans. As a former health insurance exec who helped draft this talking point, I need to come clean on its back story, and why it's wrong and a trap 1/11

The other thing about "choice" is that you never know what's around the corner. One day you're healthy and you don't worry about deductibles, co-pays, out of network providers and drug costs. Then life happens and now you're "choice" has become a liability - or worse.

Hit the nail on the head there! Ended up in emergency room, bill I could settle for $6,000, but the bill insurance company rec'd was $32,000. Does this make any kind of sense at all???

Mr. Potter, 1 thing that scares me is would M4A: * reduce the amount of participating doctors/specialists * reduce their negotiated price for services * prolong wait times 4 specialists like a chiropractor or PT Could you clarify?
