(Also, I realized that my book sort of skipped the whole "FDR died and Truman had to be read in on the bomb" thing which was kind of an inexcusable omission. Just too many stories to tell!)

(My goal at this point is to just get the bloated manuscript into a position to be edited, rather than editing as I go. Trying to edit as I go was part of what was hanging this project up for so long, I discovered — endless iterations of chapters, no progress.)
