(In my defense, it was originally two chapters that I tried to combine into one in an effort to cut things down. So the fact that it is super long is not surprising. Though it should be cut down... eventually.)

(Also, I realized that my book sort of skipped the whole "FDR died and Truman had to be read in on the bomb" thing which was kind of an inexcusable omission. Just too many stories to tell!)
