      Here is a list of US nuclear weapon systems deployed to South Korea, as of 1977.       And to just make that chart (from Stan Norris) very clear: by the mid-1960s, the US had deployed almost 1,000 nuclear weapons to South Korea. For perspective, let's just remember that is on the order of 100X the number of weapons the DPRK has right now.
