Oh. I don't tend to put the (original?) classification designations of documents in footnotes. Never struck me as being that useful to anyone if everything is declassified now anyway.
There are only a few times when I've felt that the specific classification given to a document was worth discussing, and in that case I'd just discuss it somewhere (e.g. in the text or a footnote). But otherwise...

I mean, I guess I can see the argument if there would be some question in the reader's mind about it. "Was this a secret report or not?" But it's never struck me as something worth trying to keep track of.
