(And before you ask, why would I do such a thing... I am trying to set up automated, Python-scripted OCRing of around ~1 million PDFs. So it's got to run on the office computer, which for various reasons is Windows... ugh)

Does it run Windows 10? These days you can run Linux apps on Windows using the Linux subsystem.
