Did they ever find out why there was that "double mushroom cloud" effect with that shot and Upshot-Knothole Grable? As far as I know, they were the only shots that exhibited that characteristic.
There are a few others that do it — Buster-Jangle Sugar for example (below). I don't know what does it — I suspect it is just something about yield, HOB, and maybe the type of surface it is reflecting off of? E.g., the blast wave pushing the top of the fireball from the bottom?pic.twitter.com/O9O6NfCTUo
