Did they ever find out why there was that "double mushroom cloud" effect with that shot and Upshot-Knothole Grable? As far as I know, they were the only shots that exhibited that characteristic.
There are a few others that do it — Buster-Jangle Sugar for example (below). I don't know what does it — I suspect it is just something about yield, HOB, and maybe the type of surface it is reflecting off of? Never seen those shots of Buster-Jangle before, thanks! I think you are right, it must be a combination of those factors that result in it's appearance.
