I would agree in that it would be advantageous for KJU to show they now possess a viable deterrent. Showing just how much room there is inside the payload fairing for decoys, penetration aids or perhaps multiple RVs seems like a bonanza - unless it is a feint.

I think assuming it is a feint is... optimistic. They're trying to look as credible as possible in their capabilities. They're trying to show they're doing this the "right way" from a technical perspective.
