I've seen no good reason to suggest he's suicidal. They're not going to risk everything unless they think they have nothing to lose. If they think they are in a "use it or lose it" situation — don't expect them to act differently than we would.

Sure — always possible to mis-signal, etc. But I still don't think DPRK would be preemptive with nukes unless it thought the end was in sight.
