One of the reasons I like writing about Laika is that rarely do I get to combine my interest in missiles and dog fealty so absolutely.

I think you would hate it too if he went into space (particularly if he wasn't coming back like Laika)
Beyond that, he hates riding on boats and other non-standard transports. I don't think rockets are for him. He is sensitive and anxious.
