This is nice. The one thing I always tell students: all you really need to do is be able to summarize the argument in a sentence or two.
If you can do that, a) you can deploy it "on the spot" (in exams, etc.), and b) you'll remember more about it anyway, with that mnemonic.
(And by "summarize" — I mean, in your own words, and actually understand your summary. Don't just memorize jargon...!)
