      Shortest route to Pyongyang from Minot = 9,200 km. Over south pole... it's like ~30,000 km. MMIII range = ~10,000 km.

      BTW the easiest way to figure out the south pole range of a given base — use MISSILEMAP, set the launcher on the base (e.g. Minot),

      then change the range to something huge, e.g. 30,000 km. You'll see that the line "doubles around" the Earth that way.
