FUN FACT: Davy Crockett, the closest thing to a "backpack nuke" in US arsenal, had a mere 1.6 kg of Pu + 2.42 kg of HEU. And now you know!

We also had plenty of SADM nuclear demolition devices. Those weighed 23kg and were explicitly designed to be carried by a paratrooper.
