I agree, but I'm not sure it's wise to go so far as treating Kim Jong Un as a rational actor.
(Also, is "they're crazy" the dehumanization strategy of the 21st century? It makes it easier to avoid thinking about enemies as people.)

I think we should treat him as much as a "rational actor" as all real people. I.e., less rational than the game theorists would have.
