@wellerstein Regarding the new DPRK pics, do you think the casing is made of DU (if it's not just a scale-model)? Would help with yield, no?
a fully DU case would be VERY heavy. not good for a missile warhead. you get ~17 kt per kg of DU fissioning, so a dab will do you.

True, I just wonder how much yield from this recent test came from fast fission of U-238. Guess we will find out soon given the collapse?
