I suspect peak might have been higher but server was underperforming for whatever reason, only allowing about ~300 users at a time.

Yeah, it was not running very well. Being out of the country didn't help on that front — usually I can troubleshoot that stuff in realtime.

Any way to check the number of hits from particular countries (DPRK?) and what was "targeted" by them (Guam?)?

Most North Korean traffic is (I understand) routed through China, and it is easy to "opt out" of my statistics-taking anyway. So not really.
