Washington would have been on Eastern War Time = EDT = UCT-4? Allied occupied Germany under either CET (UCT+1) or CEST (UCT+2) in 1945?

Huh, that might do it. One of my guesses was UTC+3 but I thought that would be absurd. But absurd it is? Will re-check my numbers.
