That's a bit misleading. Nuclear weapons are not as good in converting Energy to blast/pressure waves. But only by a factor of mayby ~0.5

It's the order of magnitude I'm trying to get across, here. NUKEMAP is not meant to simulate conventional explosives.
-
I know. That's why it is only "a bit misleading", not much though.

Excuse me, but is there anyway you could move the placement of the MOAB up about five blocks and just a smidge east?

Pardon my ignorance, but the little point on the right is the MOAB? Why does it have that name?
-
Mother Of All Bombs.
-
Badly phrased question. If it is the MOAB why is it's impact so small?
-
Ah, the others are thermonuclear/atomic. MOAB is the largest non-nuclear bomb of US arsenal. Believe it was plenty big for the application.

OK so help me out here with an honest question. How do I square this with the 1 mile radius figure bouncing around?

Remember: W88 and W76 are atomic warheads in service, Little Boy was 1st atom bomb in '45, MOAB is largest non-atomic bomb in arsenal.
