Did B-29 shield the A-bomb from the environmental neutron radiation above 100 MeV?
@jackiemopsy @TweetTw88036790 -
I don't know. Why?
-
This is because the environmental neutron radiation cannot be completely stopped by shielding.
-
I am not sure what you are implying the importance of this is?

Even 16.6㎏ of natural uranium in the building goes critical after being hit by the environmental neutron radiation. How is HEU?
-
I assume you are referring to criticality accident of 1999. This was 18.8% enriched uranium, in water.
-
In 1999 Japan's nuclear accident occurred in a production process of "MOX fuel made from Pu & NU or DU" for FBR Joyo.

What I have read states that accident involved U fuel being prepared for the fast breeder, not MOX: http://world-nuclear.org/information-library/safety-and-security/safety-of-plants/tokaimura-criticality-accident.aspx …
