So to scale that up to 1,000 Mt (1,000,000 kilotons) would mean it would weigh 200 metric tons. Stupidly heavy for a missile.

@wellerstein And what damage can be done with 12 warheads 300kT each? Is it reasonable payload of single RS-28 Sarmat missile?
@zeziberto Sure, but that doesn't make it anything all that different from existing missile payloads. E.g. Trident II or R-36M2.
