@wellerstein I don't go into "binding energy" Fission releases energy, mostly as kinetic energy of fission products -
@wellerstein Where this energy comes from is a separate issue. If you mix them you get the dollar bill -
@russianforces I think E=mc^2 is useful when used to explain why fission doesn't violate the 1st law of thermodynamics, but that's about it.
