@wellerstein When exactly we’re those photos taken? Seems like the debris had been removed before them.
@bbccdde They are undated but they would have been taken no earlier than late 1945, maybe 1946.

@bbccdde The first Americans to survey Hiroshima/Nagasaki came in September 1945 with the first Occupation group. -
