@Cornubot Even with Hiroshima, a lot of the fires were due to blast effects (i.e. knocking over charcoal stoves) and not the thermal pulse.

@wellerstein Yes, I'm aware of the open charcoal stoves and paper/wood houses problem in Hiroshima. Slightly sceptical about the firestorm. -
@wellerstein That's why I was asking. What about the flammability of concrete buildings and interiors in nuclear tests? -
@Cornubot A lot of work was done on this in the 1950s. The results are complex. This is one of the reasons fire is often omitted.
