The truck we got to scan was carrying ceramics. It hit for thorium-232 and potassium-40, which is common for stuff made out of dirt.

@wellerstein Do you now how realistic is the idea of passing radioactive materials hidden within cat litter through those detectors?
@jsdiaz_ They claimed they can distinguish both materials and counts. So presumably cat litter + bad would look diff than just cat litter.
