@wellerstein Do you now how realistic is the idea of passing radioactive materials hidden within cat litter through those detectors?
The truck we got to scan was carrying ceramics. It hit for thorium-232 and potassium-40, which is common for stuff made out of dirt.

@jsdiaz_ They claimed they can distinguish both materials and counts. So presumably cat litter + bad would look diff than just cat litter. -
