@wellerstein does the German "total" include the Norwegian stock sunk by commandos? If not, how much larger including that ?

@n1vux I didn't include the Norsk Hydro water. That comes out to be about 500 kg of very variable quality stock (a lot was only ~1% D2O).

@wellerstein so even including it, qualitative comparison would be unaffected. loss put them further behind, too far. thanks.

@n1vux Right. Either way they were very far from enough to make a reactor the size of CP-3, much less a Pu-production reactor.

@wellerstein is academe still divided on whether Bohr obstructed progress intentionally ?

@n1vux (Which I hesitate to add was a pretty accurate assessment. The Manhattan Project is the anomaly in WWII — only "real" nuke program.)
