@wellerstein Agreed. He's also not a "hero", as many call him, but that's another story.
My major beef with calling Bradley Manning a "whistleblower" is that leaking indiscriminately is not whistleblowing. It's just leaking.

@plutoniumpage None of which, of course, justifies the allegedly awful treatment (solitary, etc.) that he's had by the US gov't. -
@wellerstein Oh, no kidding. I think he needs help; he's not stable, & that kind of treatment probably made him feel worse, psych-wise.
