Google's (annoying) captcha apparently thinks that a shadow of a bicycle is actually a bicycle (it rejected my statement that there were no bicycles in this picture... I'm not sure that thing is actually a shadow of a bicycle anyway)pic.twitter.com/V5H39kWgvR

apparently some of it is checking that you answer like a real person, and I guess get frustrated like a real person

wait until they meet my new creation, FrustratoBot, an AI designed to get just as frustrated as someone who drives in New Jersey (it has only one purpose: once installed in your car, it honks the horn repeatedly whenever the car comes to a complete stop)

I think these captcha's are supposed to be teaching AI for self-driving cars. Could be wrong, but it dovetails nicely with why they are getting so stupid the last few years.

Been a Mac user for years & added Little Snitch, an app that asks if you will allow/deny any external connection to your machine. The intrusiveness of Google & Facebook is terrifying. They track all your banking log ins etc. etc. Moved to Duck Duck Go and blocked G & FB.

My favorite is when they give you ones that require cultural knowledge. About half of the time I fail them (ex., storefronts in another country) or can tell the object is a bad idea (ex., palm trees).
