I know this is something that has been said before by many people, but I will just put it out there: the #1 most useful thing I've done for myself this summer has been to quit caffeine entirely. I don't feel terrible when I wake up (and wake up much faster), (1/2)

(And yes, I know that caffeine addiction is taken as a sign of being a modern person. I get it, I've been there. Death before decaf, etc. I'm not being prescriptive here. You do you. Just reporting my own results.)

Quit 16 years ago when my youngest was born and couldn’t get any coffee for a week (of horrible headaches). Felt so great decided to go as long as I could without caffeine.
