dang - our cat was radioactive for a bit in May (as a result of treatment for hyperthyroidism), and we were toying w/idea of getting a Geiger counter but they seemed $$ - should’ve consulted you! :)

they're usually a lot more money than that, which is why I didn't have one (I have an old, not-very-sensitive radiation detector that cannot detective radioactive cats, alas)
