Geiger counters, ear-hair trimmers, dog treats, and a book called "Ocean of Lard": sometimes I wonder what Amazon's algorithms think about my purchases.

oh and if you're in need of serious nose/ear trimming (I've apparently hit the age at which this becomes an endless struggle), this one works pretty great for its price: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003TW70E0/ref=as_li_qf_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=000000123-20&creative=9325&linkCode=as2&creativeASIN=B003TW70E0&linkId=17828e0a176b3456f90bbc6198fffb98 …

dang - our cat was radioactive for a bit in May (as a result of treatment for hyperthyroidism), and we were toying w/idea of getting a Geiger counter but they seemed $$ - should’ve consulted you! :)

they're usually a lot more money than that, which is why I didn't have one (I have an old, not-very-sensitive radiation detector that cannot detective radioactive cats, alas)
