Indeed. The numbers look right for my school but hard to say given variance across field and the insane cost of housing.

It’s all because we can’t look straight at money. These statistics andany layering of numbers, really, fails to capture what we actually want to know: where are the most comfortable Associate Professors?

PS - It also highlights the perennial divergence between UCLA and Berkley and every other UC. And I think we have more than 146 associate profs so the data might be wonky.
