@wellerstein how can i get into computer programming

Realize I never responded to this — my approach is 1) pick a platform (e.g. Javascript for web, Game Maker Studio for 2D games, Unity for 3D), 2) pick a project (come up with something you want to build, even something simple), and 3) dive in, start Googling/YouTubing/etc.
The real work is not in the "learning" but the experience you pick up trying to solve the problems. It's slow going at first but you'll get better. Eventually it becomes second nature. But it's all about the time you put into it. :-)
