Amtrak should rename it to The "Quiet" Car, with scare-quotes. Because... it's not that quiet.

An Amtrak conductor friend of mine told me about the time she had to zip-tie a passenger who tried to stab another rider with a pen for typing too loudly in the quiet car. I bet it was quiet in the car after that happened.
I may or may not have been that passenger (though the sin that makes me near crazy is the little bell "ding!" that smart phones do when people get a message... it's feels like it goes straight to my brain stem)
